My Honey do list

well Saturday it is. I 'm in the process of potting up petunia's, Lobelia and others. I also started some Linaria, Dahlia and Rosemary seeds. I also had a surprise yesterday when I found a blooming Pansy. This year I left the lights on 24/7 and I can see a difference in the maturity of the plants vs.16 hrs a day.

Well, with the help of my wife I brought in the shelf and filled it with some flowers. The top 2 shelves are 8 different colored Geraniums from Park seed. The bottom left is Ageratum, the other 2 flats are Salvia. I still have room for 2 flats so will add later. The Germination room now has room. I have Petunia's(8)varieties to repot along with (3) Lobelia and (2)Viola's.
Well it's moving day. I took a vacation day so I decided to move some of my plants out of the "Germination Room" and bring upstairs to receive some natural light. My living room receives sunlight most of the day so I will fill up the shelving unit I built yesterday. I decided this year I was going to plant more seeds. I added more shelves and lights but didn't take into account for growth. Some of the plants are to tall to keep under lights and I have more seeds to start. I have tomatoes, peppers and cantaloupe along with some more annuals at the end of the month. I read about companion planting on the web where it talked about certain flowers and herbs help repel insects, so I want to get these started.

March will be a busy time since this is when I move all the plants to the Greenhouse. If money was not an issue I would move them there now but the heating cost would enormous. Later today I will post some pics of the new shelf full of plants.

Have good day!!

Well I'm glad its warmer (35 degrees) then Friday, I have to make a run to Lowes to make a new shelf unit. After potting up my Geraniums I now have to place them on the floor because they are to tall for my shelving. I needed to make another shelf unit for the GH but will keep inside till March.
Saturday felt like spring after the past 2 days of Artic air. So I decided to take the camera out and get some pics of my veggie garden and the GH and get some pics of my veggie garden and the GH

All my plants are started from seed. I use shop lights for a light source and Promix for my starting medium. I have purchased standard flats for starting seeds but have use used small plastic tubs placed inside a ziploc bag.
